Jose "Joe" C. Ayuyu is the Owner/Operator and President of McDonald’s of Guam and Saipan. In 1993, Joe opened the first McDonald's restaurant in Middle Road, Saipan. Due to the success of the first restaurant, he opened the island's second McDonald's store in the tourist district of Garapan in December 1996. Since then, Joe has dedicated his time to running an efficient business operation while fulfilling his passion of giving back to his home island. Since 1993, he has been committed to donating to various public, private and vocational schools and non-profit organizations. In May 2016, Joe fulfilled one of his long-term goals by expanding his business ventures into the Guam market with the acquisition of six additional McDonald's restaurants on the neighboring island of Guam.

He currently serves as Chairman for the Board of Directors for the Commonwealth Ports Authority (CPA). He is a former Board Chairman for the Bank of Saipan and past President for the Saipan Chamber of Commerce. In 1998, Joe was honored as the Saipan Chamber of Commerce "Businessperson of the Year". In January 2017, he was named "2016 Executive of the Year" by the Guam Business Magazine.
